My English teacher is wierdly obsessed with correctness of form when it comes to our papers.  I guess it’s because the higher academia is obsessed with correctness of form, too?  Bah, quashes creativity, if you ask me.  I’m all for easy readability, but there’s a point where you just have to say srsly.  I got marked off on my lovely short story analysis essay because my heading was on the wrong side of th epaper for correct MLA formatting.  WTF.

I don’t get this too. I mean, who the hell cares about the formatting and stuff anyways? And the fact that there are different formats for different subjects? Ridiculous. College: Truly a cesspool of useless ideas.
