So did Bush. He was talking to Putin during the Olympic opening ceremony; Putin said "we just bombed Georgia", and Bush said "But that's a red state! Bomb California instead!". Laura Bush was sitting there going "George, honey, just watch the pretty lights", shaking her head in embarrassment.
