My Favorite Actual Tumblrs of 2009.

Aaron- I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. You’re like my tumblr big brother. Whenever I’m sad, you’re there. You’re my link back to New York. You can never know what it does for me, your phone-pics of the NY sky and trees. It’s amazing. You often make me feel so much better about myself and where I am just by being around and liking my posts. Making me feel like someone is listening to me.

Maria- I totally adore you. You’re this little pocket of compact sunshine and wit on my dash. Everything about you is just… nice. You remind me of sitting by the window with a cup of tea and a good book. You simply make me happy.

Hannah- I don’t even know what to say about you. You’re just quality, madame, quality. You were one of my very favorites from the begining and when I’m 56 and I think back on my teenage blogging days, I’m gonna think of you.

Matt- I haven’t spoken to you in ages, Matty. I dunno, we just fell out of contact, I suppose. But I think you’re the closest I’ve had to a real friend on tumblr. We lead scarily similar romantic lives; never did I think someone would understand what I was going through until I met you. Thank you so much for that comfort. And we fought like RL friends, too. :)

Devin- I MISS YOU, YOU ADORABLE BOY, YOU. Ahem. I think that says it all. Oh, and thank you for seriously broadening my horizons when it comes to music. Thanks to you, I have the sheer magic that is Pogo in my life.

Ria, Sierra and Jasmine - I don’t mean to clump you guys together like this, but my summaries on each of you were looking scarily similar. You make me laugh, constantly. My dash would not be the same without either of you. Totally the brat pack of tumblr, in my eyes. It’s admirable to see girls who really and truly know how to stick up for themselves against the slew of jackasses who insist on pestering you. It sounds cliche, but it’s your independence and I-am-woman kind of fierceness that I love about you.

Sabino- Dude. Your photos. Idek. If you read this, you should be following this guy.

Liz-One out of two IRL friends that I have on tumblr, and Hilary’s never on. We’ve had a pretty turbulent year, haven’t we? You will always be my favorite person to drink with, I swear. I never really know what’s truly up with you, deep down inside, and I never really felt close enough to ask. But I hope you know that I could never think any less of you for anything.

Savannah- My JGL best friend. :) You understand me on redic levels. You’re just so cool. Another one of those jems of sweetness and love I’ve found on here.

Alixjay- Probably the biggest crush I’d ever had on tumblr. I was so sad when I heard you were taken. You’re one of those enigma people. I can’t put my finger on what it is I like about you - aside from the obvious sweetness, choice sense of humor, spunk for lack of a better word.

Mimisaurus- You are fantastic. One of those “totally don’t give a shit what you think about me but I’m terribly nice about it” kind of people. Plus, your love of the Doctor rivals (but will never triumph over) mine.

Alex- Your another one of those few, like Aaron, who I feel so loved by. Whenever you like a post, I get really happy. You have a totally infectious smile and I love practically everything you post.

Laura- You’ve been my main Whovian since forevever. I think you were actually one of the first Whovians that I followed. That kind of bond cannot be touched. I love ya. :)

notcrazy-unwell- I don’t know you very well personally, but I’ve noticed that you’ve just consistently been there for me. You’re such a sweet person and I think one of the things I love most about good tumblrs: they love without always expecting love in return. That’s you. Thank you for being there for me this year, helping and talking me through whenever you could. :)

There are definitely people that aren’t here who I LOVE. Don’t be offended if you aren’t listed. I love all of you.  :]

OMG, I never thought I’d be on anybody’s list. And I never thought anyone would describe me that way. You were one of the first people I followed and stuff, so this is touching. I love ya too, Nikki, you sweet, sweet girl you! 8D
